Emma + Luke went and got married at The Engine Shed in Wetherby.
It was our first visit to The Engine Shed and hopefully, not our last ‘cos it’s a truly great wedding venue. There’s just a fantastic atmosphere to the place and the staff work so hard to make sure you have a brilliant day. It looks pretty cool too, as you can see below.
Emma had Luke sweating a bit as she arrived in just the nick of time for the ceremony but it was all smiles for a lovely service. Phew! We dodged the rain for the confetti run and blasted through some group shots before it was time for a rather excellent bbq style dinner. All was not as it seemed throughout the meal as it had been infiltrated by The Undercover Waiters. We loved their show. They soon had everyone stood up, laughing and singing along. An absolute treat to witness.
Some heartwarming speeches that celebrated friendship and the coming together of families followed and then we all had a bit of a chill/drink as The Engine Shed team got everything turned around for the dancing. And there was some spectacular dancing! The Royale Band rocked hard and brought out some real crowd-pleasers culminating in massive Nirvana sing-a-long.
The Engine Shed is ace. Emma + Luke are ace. This wedding was ace.
