Ox Pasture Hall Wedding Photography – Christina + Karl

Christina + Karl had their wedding at Ox Pasture Hall near Scarborough, North Yorkshire.

Spring was in full bloom as we drove five minutes from our house to Karl’s parent’s home where our bride and groom were getting ready. Having already been wed in Christina’s home country of Austria, the English wedding was a relaxed affair. There was a quick “first look” at the house before we drove down to the beach for a few photos and then it was on to the wedding venue.

It’s been quite a while since we’ve been to a wedding at Ox Pasture Hall but the grounds looked just as pretty as we remembered, especially with the cherry tree dripping with blossom. Guests from home and abroad soon started to arrive for what turned out to be a very sweet ceremony which included the flower girls being asked to ensure that the wedding rings had been put on properly. Dinner came with funny and touching speeches and it wasn’t long before the dancing began. Karl changed into his Lederhosen as the après-ski hit Scarborough and one of our favourite wedding DJs pumped out the soundtrack for some excellent drunken shenanigans.
