Dovecote Events Wedding Photography – Josie + Joe

Josie + Joe had their big day at Dovecote Events in Oxfordshire.

We’d been looking forward to this wedding for quite a while, Josie + Joe had booked us after visiting the Eclectic Wedding Extravaganza last year and we know that EWE couples always throw a great party. This pair did not disappoint!

After getting ready we headed into the Oxfordshire countryside to Dovecote Events at Bo Peep Farm. The ceremony was held in the lovely Dovecote Barn. There were drinks in the courtyard as we dodged the rain showers to do a few group shots and then everyone made a beeline for the tipis. At Dovecote Events you have the choice of holding your wedding reception in their marquee or the double tipi, the latter being the obvious choice for a festival styled wedding – or wedfest. A short walk past the glamping site through the fields and we were ready for speeches and a slap-up jerk chicken dinner.

If there’s one thing guaranteed to get the party going, it’s an awesome live band. Mystic Crew are an awesome live band. Their super tight and charismatic reggae groove kept everyone on the dancefloor after the first dance right to the end of their set. Josie’s brother kept the party going on the decks. A professional club DJ, he played a set that was filled with hits and humour as well as a rather touching last dance for Josie + Joe.
