Die Edelkastanie Wedding Photography – Louissa + Scott

Louissa + Scott were married at Die Edelkastanie near Hanover in Germany.

We were fortunate enough to miss all the travel chaos in the UK as we headed over to Germany which meant we got to spend our day that we’d allowed for delays sightseeing in Brunswick. A most serene way of preparing for our day at Die Edelkastanie. We loved this venue from the moment we arrived, we were at least two hours early but we were warmly welcomed and shown to our room, they really wanted us to feel at home. The outstanding service was on display for the entire day. We’d highly recommend this beautiful venue.

Louissa + Scott had their ceremony beneath the titular Edelkastanie (sweet chestnut) tree in the courtyard and enjoyed the rest of the day in the grounds. The large barn being the ideal place for the wedding breakfast and party. A party that continued well into the next morning. You have to pace yourself at a German wedding! It was fantastic.
