Lauren and Barry had a festival wedding in Carmarthenshire, Wales and it was lush.
The whole shebang went down at Caerhyn Farm in Llangadog, Carmarthenshire. A relatively new but very awesome venue, this place has everything. Nestled in the gorgeous Welsh countryside it has self-catering accommodation, a barn for the ceremony and dancing, room for caterers, space for a huge marquee, lovely gardens, a bar, fields you can camp in and the essential space to land your helicopter! (we just drove down in the Skoda.)
Lauren and Barry had a Humanist ceremony which are always a joy. So much more personal and meaningful for each couple. Then the party started (although the gin had been flowing since we got there in the morning). There was the meal in the marquee and garden games, and then The Soul Miners kicked off the dancing in the barn and it did. not. stop. What an ace band. When the band finished, Rob from Stick It On had the decks set up in the marquee. Stick It On have to be one of our favourites, ‘Stick It On’ and take back control of the dancefloor when your guests become superstar DJs for the night! says the website. Brilliant fun.
There was so much going on and so much booze flowing that we were grateful to have Ness steering that crazy ship. She’s an alternative wedding planner in Wales and an absolute star.
Check out the video and some of our fave pics from the day.
