Charlotte + Georgina had their big day at Eye + Dunsden Village Hall just outside Reading.
We met these two at Eimear + Henry’s wedding back in 2019, they had already booked us before we’d even shot their friend’s wedding so we’d been looking forward to it for ages, but, Covid kept moving the goalposts. Two different venues had been booked and three different dates arranged before we were finally able to all get together in a beautiful little village hall to celebrate their marriage.
The excitement was off the charts leading up to their day and the rain that came and went all day long was never going to stop everyone from having one hell of a party. Two father of the bride speeches and heartfelt words from every single bridesmaid left no dry eyes in the house. The amazingly named Plum Honeychurch brought her ice cream tricycle for after-dinner treats and Sam and his guitar entertained us throughout the afternoon.
It was the first wedding in a long time where the dance floor was absolutely packed from the first dance to last orders. The easing of covid restrictions meant everyone was able to finally let loose and we were so ready for it!
Here are a few of our favourite shots from the day…
