Museum of the Home Wedding Photography – Anna + Ross

Anna + Ross had their wedding at the Museum of the Home in London.

Rooms and gardens of the past were the setting as Anna + Ross said their vows and took their first steps into the future as a married couple. Technically, the legal bits had all been taken care of earlier in the week but this was the BIG day, which meant we got to see a “first look”. An American tradition brought over by our Texan bride. It also allowed their friend Charlotte to take the role of celebrant and perform the actual wedding; which she did a smashing job of. (A future side hustle awaits.)

After the ceremony drinks and canapés were served in the gardens. It was a warm day and thirsty guests (and photographers) kept the chaps at the bar busy from start to finish. Everyone moved into the atrium at the Museum of the Home for dinner and some lovely speeches which featured a wedding haiku. It was our first experience of a wedding haiku but we’re sold. More wedding haikus!

Once the dancing started, it did not stop. The DJ was having fun with the music selection and the crowd was loving it, surfing that fine crest of absolute bangers and cheesy hits with aplomb.

The Museum of the Home can be found in the east end of London which is a very old and historic part of the city that is currently vibrating with youthful urgency and expression. A fantastic venue for Anna + Ross’s celebration which was itself an age-old tradition that buzzed with life and joy.

Don’t forget to check out the excellent suppliers at the bottom of this blog and here are a few of our favourite pictures from the day…
