Catherine + Andrew had their colourful outdoor wedding at Stepney Hill Farm in Scarborough.
We started the day with Catherine and her family, getting ready in a gorgeous townhouse overlooking Scarborough’s North Bay. The happy couple had already been for a stroll together, taking in the sea air, beginning their day as they meant to go on, chilled and relaxed.
The colourful outdoor ceremony was all steam ahead thanks to the glorious sunshine and little fluffy clouds. Both Catherine and Andrew arrived at Stepney Hill in Herbie, the Love Bug. Then when the newlyweds were officially announced everyone spent an afternoon enjoying hog roast, cold beers and a few gin and tonics. As the sun set, Angie arrived with her ice cream trike filled to the brim with frosty gelatos and sorbets. The happy couple had personally tasted and chosen the flavours, we can highly recommend the chocolate chunk and forest fruit.
As the evening drew in and the sun’s warmth faded, everyone headed inside to enjoy live music from The Dark Flowers and some ace choons chosen by the bride and groom. Emma finally learnt the dance moves to Tiger Feet thanks to Andy’s mum. Only taken her about 30 years mind you. As the dancing subsided towards the end of the night, everyone was sent on their way with a piece of rainbow sprinkle cake, and damn good rainbow sprinkle cake it was too!
