Birmingham Wedding Photography – Samantha + Patrick

Samantha + Patrick held their Birmingham wedding at The Bond Company in Digbeth.

An English bride and an American groom gathered their friends and family from all over the globe. Sam’s Nan and Grandpa are getting on a bit so the decision was made to have the wedding with them in Birmingham. We’re super pleased that they did too, it’s always a treat seeing a 90-year-old couple hitting the dance floor and we got to meet loads of interesting folks from all over the place.

Their ceremony was performed by a Dudeist Priest which was a first for us. Gotta say, sounds like a pretty cool philosophy. Just, like, take it easy, man.

We later headed down to the nearby Custard Factory for a few photos amongst the awesome street art. (Let us know if you recognise any of the artists so we can tag them!)

There were some damn good speeches too. We’ve learnt that the American best man’s speech is usually rather complimentary but the English tradition of thoroughly taking the piss out of the groom was masterfully embraced with some stories that made him cringe and the other guests cry with laughter.

The day was seen out with the help of an incredible band that played a constant stream of hits. A particular highlight being a guitar solo duel with Sam. Although I think Sam’s guitar may not have been plugged in.
