Stepney Hill Farm Wedding Photography – Genine & Jim

Catching up blogging with my last wedding of 2015 first. I realise this is totally back to front but I don’t care. I love this wedding too much not to share it with the world.

So the end of November was pretty cold and wet. This didn’t stop Genine and Jim from having a beautiful and fun filled wedding day at all. I started at The Sands with the ladies getting ready to the sounds of UB40 and a few slices of pizza. Richard went off to the church to get the chaps preparing the candles for the service. We travelled to St Mary’s Church in an awesome Orange VW Camper Van and, WOW, that church is amazing. Not sure I’ve been inside before. I couldn’t find many photographs on the internet. The stained glass windows are so old and let the last of the day’s light through beautifully.

After the service everyone headed to Stepney Hill Farm on a double decker bus. The barn looked amazing thanks to the folks at WOW Weddings Yorkshire – so many fairy lights! Instead of a big formal sit down dinner, Genine and Jim treated all their guests to a hog roast and the biggest table of cakes and sweets – which didn’t last as long as I thought it would! Stepney Hill put on the hog roast and it was an amazing idea for a winter wedding as it warmed everyone up!

After partaking of a hog sandwich it was time to get jiggy with it. With the kids raiding the sweet cart and toasting marshmallows in the fire pit, everyone got to dancing and having one hell of a party. Thanks for letting us be a part of your day you guys, it was an awesome way to finish 2015 on a high!
