Scarborough Fair Collection Wedding Photography – Lauren + Iain

Lauren and Iain were married at St Oswald’s church in Filey before moving the party to The Scarborough Fair Collection.

Situated in The Flower of May Holiday Park near Scarborough, this unique venue features a museum of vintage cars and fairground rides. The best bit is, many of the rides still work so you can spend your wedding reception whizzing round on The Speedway with Nanna and avoiding Uncle Steve on the Bumper Cars! Then you can sit down for dinner surrounded by antique mechanical organs.

This was never going to be a typical wedding with a venue like that booked so we weren’t too surprised when Emma ended up covering Lauren’s bridal prep in a primary school and Rich spent the morning with Iain in a static caravan.

There were more surprises at the church. Rose petals rained down from the heavens after the first kiss. Lauren and Iain had forgotten they’d ticked that box on the order form so it was an extra moment of unexpected loveliness on an already lovely day.

The Scarborough Fair Collection is a bit of a hidden gem amongst alternative wedding venues, none of our wedding photographer friends seem to have heard of it and we think that’s a shame. It really is a unique venue with great food and drink, and the afternoon’s entertainment takes care of itself. For a truly memorable wedding day, it’s hard to beat.

Shout-out to the awesome vendors!
