Best of 2021

There’s not much to be said about 2021 that hasn’t already been said by everyone else. It’s been… emotional.

As the covid lockdowns and social distancing measures were slowly lifted, smaller gatherings and eventually weddings reappeared. The overriding feelings seemed to be of relief and celebration as families and friends were finally allowed to be together, often for the first time in over a year. There was also a sense of loss. Not only for the people who should have been there and weren’t but also for all the little moments that we missed out on for such a long time.

This year all those hugs were held just a little bit longer. The smiles were just a little bit wider. Those drinks with friends tasted a little bit sweeter. The tears flowed a little more freely. And we all understood why.

We’re always aware of how important our job is but this year it just hit a little differently. Being able to do the job we love once more felt even more special.

On an entirely selfish note; we were absolutely flabbergasted to be named as one of Rangefinders 30 Rising stars this year. The global award is probably the biggest in the industry and it still hasn’t sunk in.
